Natural Bamboo / Woven Wood Shades

Visible variations in color, grain and texture are natural characteristics of this product. Woven Wood Shades are made from wood, bamboo and rattan with painted & stained finished. Some designs have natural jute, grass & reeds. Variation in color, grain, texture and warpage are natural and should not be considered to be defective.

Woven wood, as any woven fabric, can be affected by temperature and humidity, which could stretch or shrink the material. Shipping and handling may also cause a slight change in shade length. These variations are considered normal and are not covered by warranty.

Over time, the color will soften in the sun to a mild golden tone. Finish edges of the bamboo and large reed may crack after cutting and assembly due to the inherent property of natural material. We recommend that multiple shade orders of the same pattern be placed at one time.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Merchant Blinds, is pleased to offer a five-year Limited Lifetime Warranty on all of our custom window coverings. This warranty applies to the original residential retail purchaser. Merchant Blinds warrants that our custom window coverings will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, the purchaser has proof of purchase, and the purchaser resides at the location for which the product was purchased – provided that: (i) such product was properly installed, and (ii) such product was made or assembled exclusively from Merchant Blinds materials and components.

The obligation of Merchant Blinds is limited to repair or replacement of the shades, blinds, or components found to be defective, and excludes labor costs for measuring and installation. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts. This Limited Lifetime Warranty shall be void if the product is moved from the original location of installation.

This warranty does not cover any damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, improper installation, motorized devices, acts of God (such as fires, floods, tornadoes, etc.), environmental damage (such as insect damage, exposure to sun, exposure to salt air, exposure to excessive humidity, etc.), or failure to follow printed instructions on cleaning, care, or maintenance. This warranty does not apply to conditions resulting from normal wear and tear (see Wear and Tear Guidelines). Commercial use of all products is also excluded from this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES, OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Merchant Blinds or its distributors be liable for incidental or consequential damages, or for any expense associated with such damages. Repair or replacement of defective products is the sole remedy under this warranty and in no event shall Merchant Blinds be liable for costs to remove or reinstall the product. In some states exclusions for incidental or consequential damages are not allowable; exclusions for incidental or consequential damages as listed in this warranty may not apply in those states.

To obtain service under this warranty, you need to contact Accent Blinds & Shades by phone at 1-888-660-2546 or by fax at 1-888-660-2546 for replacement, repair or to request a return authorization. Accent Blinds & Shades will arrange shipment from your place to the manufacturer and then the manufacturer will pay for shipping the product or replacement back to you anywhere in the continental United States. Special arrangements will have to be made for orders outside the 48 continental states.
