Design Perspective
Aluminum blinds are available in a wide variety of slat sizes - we offer  a 1" economy .006 gauge slat and a more durable 1" .008 gauge slat. We don't recommend slatted blinds for rooms with small children or pets because of the risk of strangulation. Mini blinds even less so because they can be damaged a lot easier than 2" wood or faux wood blinds.

Function & Installation Perspective
