· Introducing Decorative Knobs for Averte Natural Fold™!
By popular demand, B&W is now offering optional Decorative Knobs on any Averte Natural Fold™. Here is all
you need to know:
- Decorative Knobs are a no charge option that are supplied upon request only.
- They are stained or painted to perfectly match the Averte lead rail.
- Decorative Knobs will be positioned half way up the lead rails unless otherwise specified.
- Split Draws will have a knob on each of the two center rails. One-Way Draws will have one Decorative Knob on the moving lead rail.
· Shades of Elegance Roller Shades Upgrade
Effective September 1, 2010 the SL Series Clutch from
RollEase will be the new standard for Horizons™ Shades of
Elegance clutch roller shades.
- The SL is available in 6 colors, resulting in superior color coordination. We will automatically coordinate the color to your fabric choice, so there is no need to specify.
- Installation is considerably easier. The SL Series features a spring-loaded pin that provides more leeway for slightly mismeasured shades or out of square windows.
- The SL allows for greater coverage on inside mounts.
- The brackets are interchangeable, left to right, so you do not need to install a clutch end-bracket versus non-clutch-end-bracket.
- The SL Series is more durable and is considerably quieter.
- Finally, the sleek curved design provides greater residential appeal.
The SL Series is available at no additional charge, and is standard on all clutch roller shades. You do not need to request it.

What is B&W doing to ensure all its products comply with cord and loop
safety requirements?
All UpRight shades (clutch lift system) have attached spring tension devices. In addition to child safety, this makes B&W compliant with the Child Safety Standards (Sections 4.3.3 & Section 6.5). All shades with draw cords are made in compliance with Sections 4.3.2 and 4.3.8.
Each type of window covering in the entire B&W collection has been evaluated and tested to ensure complete compliance with the new Safety Standards. They also offer several truly cordless options such as the Averte Natural Fold and the Shades of Elegance Roller Shades.
All UpRight shades (clutch lift system) have attached spring tension devices. In addition to child safety, this makes B&W compliant with the Child Safety Standards (Sections 4.3.3 & Section 6.5). All shades with draw cords are made in compliance with Sections 4.3.2 and 4.3.8.
Because not every shade is white, B&W's cord tension devices
will soon be offered in seven colors.
