This versatile treatment can be used on a window like a drapery, on a patio door like a vertical blind or as a room divider. Since it is hand-traversed, there are no draw cords to tangle or break.

SPLIT DRAW (PAIR) AVERT
A split Averte is charged as two separate units. You will be asked to provide the total width (for track) and then the size of the individual units.

When you need that extra degree of privacy, insulation or room darkening, the Horizon shade collection has a liner that can do the job. Available in privacy (translucent) or Blackout (new technology eliminates pin-holes of light for true blackout results).
  • Lining is available in 7 colors. The workroom will decide the best match.

Contempo Cornice
CONTEMPO CORNICE - + Surcharge
The Contempo Cornice (otherwise known as a Scalloped Valance) is a stylish alternative to the standard valance. When a Contempo Cornice™ is ordered with a shade it is already attached to the shade’s headrail and requires no additional installation.

  • The pattern in the Avert Natural Fold™ runs vertically. The pattern in the valance runs horizontally. Classic valances wider than the maximum width of the pattern will be split and butted together.
  • Since the material of an Avert Natural fold is turned sideways, each fabrics maximum WIDTH is an Averté's maximum HEIGHT
  • The Avert Natural Fold DOES NOT come standard with any valance. However, any valance ordered with an Avert will automatically be upgraded with an oversized headrail (3/4" x 5-1/2") and valance returns at no extra charge.
  • When drawn, Avert Natural Fold™ is made to hang with gentle folds. There is approx. 5% fullness. If you would like thicker folds you can add more fabric in increments of 20% - maximum of 100 for an added surcharge of 10% for each incremental increase
  • Price Split Draw (pair) Avert Natural Folds as two separate units.
Decortive Pole Track
2” Fortunato Sets
Fortunato Poles are custom cut to the exact size ordered and come complete with the pole, finials, brackets and screws.

Spliced Poles
All poles over 96” will come as two pieces with a splice. The splice will be at the center of the pole to be concealed and supported by the center bracket.

Construction Information
The poles, rings and brackets are made from Poplar wood. The finials are resin casts of hand-carved wooden originals.

  • Standard - Pole Width (S) is the exact size of the pole alone. Specify “S” when ordering.
  • Tip-to-Tip (TT) is the size of the entire unit including the finials. Specify “TT” when ordering.

Cleaning & Care
We suggest periodic vacuuming with a soft brush attachment. Due to the wide variety of natural products used to weave Horizons™ Natural Shades, wet cleaning is not recommended. To ensure their long life all Horizons™ Natural Shades are recommended for indoor use only.
